All star Portillo's
I worked on my book yesterday afternoon & early evening. It has been 7 years since I've written a book and I have a feeling it's taken a bit longer to get it out of me. I was told by two people I talk to who also have children that I might be able to tell them the kids better if I wrote it down so I've been going over the past couple weeks trying to write as much of it down as possible. I've decided to write in the first person instead of my third person. I have found it very hard to remember some of the little things that happen and my third person is not always accurate.
(Second person I talked to said the same thing. How was I able to remember all these little things? She said I should write it down. :) )
I still have a few chapters left to write so I can't really tell you anything more about the story. I am working on Chapters 9 & 10 right now and I have plans to have them done today. I got all the parts that need to be written for Chapters 1 through 7 and they're done. I don't have to put them in the order they were written in. I think it's going to be a different kind of book than most.
I did get an early birthday present from my mom and brother. I went to BJ's on Saturday to pick out a new easel and have it delivered to my mom's house today. I have not seen the easel until today. I looked at the new easels in the Portillo's department of BJ's and chose the one with the purple paint. When I got home my mom looked it over and approved of it.
